Broker Requirements:

(1) $750 initial filing fee

(2) $10,000 Surety Bond

(3) $550 renewal fee main office & $150 all branches

(4) Provide 2 yrs experience as an LO

(5) 8 hrs continuing education each year.

(6) Physical office in state is requried, with normail business hours and a staff of 1+ employees

NOTE:Co-brokering is not allowed; one must be a licensed Mortgage Broker in order to negotiate loans in South Carolina.
