Broker Requirements:(1) $400 non-refundable application fee (2) $200 for each equitable owners of Loan Broker (3) $50,000 Surety Bond (4) Complete "Ultimate Equitable Owner Information Form (5) A thorough background check will be completed on all applicants (6) 24 hours of approved credit Mortgage courses within two years prior to submitting application (7) After receiving Indiana Mortgage Broker license, an additional 12 hours of education must be taken every two years - all courses must be approved (8) Submit Branch Office Notification for all branch offices in the State (9) Register Principal Manager for locations (10) License renews biennially, expiring on December 31 of the second year after being issued, and MUST be submitted no later than December 1st of the year of expiration.
Principal Manager Requirements:(1) Register with Secretary of State (2) $200 non-refundable application fee (3) Complete 24 hours of live approved class/instruction (4) Pass required Principal Manager Registration Exam (5) Obtain state criminal background report (6) Provide documents of satisfying monimum three year experience requirement per state code (7) Show proof of employment prior to origination activities (8) Renewal bienially (same as broker)
Loan Officer Requirements:(1) Complete application for Registration as Primicipal Manager or Originator (2) $100 non-refundable application fee (3) Complete 24 hours of live approved class/instruction (4) Pass required Originator Registration Exam (5) Obtain state Criminal Background Report (6) Provide documents of employment prior to Originating (7) Complete six hours of continuing education during each year (8) Renewal bienially (same as broker)
