Broker Requirements:
(1) $250 Investigation Fee
(2) $500 Annual Licensing fee
(3) $50,000 Surety Bond or Irrevocable letter of credit
(4) Audited financial statements by CPA
(5) Copy of most recent income tax return
(6) Passport size picture
(7) Meet minimum tangible net work requirement of $25,000
(8) Original duplicate fingerprint cards with a $30 processing fee per set
(9) Permission for Georgia Dept of Banking & Finance to pull current credit report
(10) Must have a physical location within the state, which must have staff in it with one supervisory employee - however, if your home state is a state other than Georgia, you may obtain a Georgia Mortgage Broker license if your home state doesn't require a physical place of business in it
(11) Proof of 2 yrs recent experience in mortgage industry OR proof of equivalent education
Education: The Georgia Association of Mortgage Brokers Educational Foundation (GAMBEF), provides educational and certification courses.
Loan Officer Requirements:
There are no Requirements to be a Loan Officer in Delaware.
