Broker Requirements:

(1) 18 years of age

(2) 24 hours of education, at qualified Mortgage Business School

(3) pass written exam showing strong knowledge of Florida Mortgage laws (complete law can be viewed at:http://www.flofr.com/licensing/)

(4) 14 hours of continuing education following 2 years after licensed

(5) Provide fingerprints for submission to FBI or state Dept of Law Enforcement - any actions pending that involve fraud, or the like, are grounds for denial of license

(6) '$200'Non-Refundable application fee (covers the 1st exam only)

(7) $150 renewal fee
