Broker Requirements:

(1) Have a Resident Agent, but not required to be resident or reside in state

(2) $250 Non-Refundable Investigation Fee

(3) $250 License fee for each location

(4) $25,000 Surety Bond OR an original final letter of credit for same amount

(5) Three letters from business reference, sent directly to state - you are not to include them with application

(6) Renewal is annual

(7a) If loan files maintained outside state, annual assessment fee is $1,000

(7b) If loan files maintaned in state, annual assessment fee is $500.

Loan Officer Requirements:

There are no Requirements to be a Loan Officer in Delaware (besides 18 years of age).
