Broker Requirements:

(1) $400 application fee

(2) $300 renewal fee

(3) $50,000 Surety Bond OR provide Audited Financials showing a net worth of at least $50,000

(4) NO in-state office required; however, a $400 exam fee per location, plus expenses connected with exam

(5) $45.25 background check fee per person PLUS 2 fully completed sets of fingerprint cards

(6) 10 hours continuing education per year.

Loan Officer Requirements:

(1) 18 Years of Age

(2) Proof of Employment as a W-2 Employee

(3) Pass a written examination

(4) Proof of test results on written examination / Exemption / Professional Education Requirement:

 To qualify for exemption of the written exam, applications must:

- Provide evidence of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in an

area related to finance, banking or business administration

and 1 (one) year of full time employment within the last

3 (three) years as a broker, lender, originator, underwriter

or processor.

             OR

- Provide evidence of 2 (two) years of full-time employment

within the previous 3 (three) years with no degree.
